The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Monterrey, close to the Grand Plaza, offering a quiet place to rest. The rooms, although older in style, are nicely appointed but show signs of wear. The service, while efficient in providing basic amenities, falls short of the high standard expected from a Crowne Plaza hotel.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, although showing signs of wear and tear with chipped paint, had some nice free touches but definitely need refurbishing. The service, especially from the bellman and doorman, was exceptional, although some remodeling is necessary soon. The location, right in the Centro neighborhood near MacroPlaza, was convenient for exploring downtown Monterrey but lacked a welcoming atmosphere due to closures. The dining experience was below par, with a poor breakfast condition that did not match the high price of over $100 per night without breakfast included.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms, while spacious, were a bit rundown, especially the one with a smoking scent that neither my wife nor I appreciated. The location near Macroplaza was convenient, but the rooms seemed a bit outdated and not very clean.
